NC APT Fall Conference 2025
Join us in person for the North Carolina Association for Play Therapy (NCAPT) Fall Conference—two days of connection, learning, and professional growth in the field of play therapy.
The conference kicks off on Friday with a specialized workshop for Registered Play Therapists Supervisors (RPT-S), offering advanced content and focused discussion. On Saturday, all play therapy professionals are invited to a full-day workshop designed to provide practical tools, engaging insights, and evidence-based strategies to support clinical work with children and families.
Whether seasoned or just starting in the field, this is a valuable opportunity to learn, network, and grow alongside colleagues from across the state.
Parking Information:
Please park in visitor parking in the Union Deck on both days; see the attached parking map. The parking garage's physical address is 8755 Student Union Lane, Charlotte, NC 28223. Be sure to pull into the VISITOR'S side fo the garage (not student parking). When you pull in, you will pull the parking ticket from the machine at the entrance on Friday; we'll be providing a parking voucher, but you need both tickets to exit. Parking is free on Saturday, so you will not need to worry about the voucher then.
We recommend parking on the ground floor of the parking deck, then exiting into the parking lot in front of the recreation center. You'll follow a walkway around the Student Union and come to the crosswalk for Craver Road. Cross the street and enter the Mebane Hall (formerly Cato College of Education) on your right. Once inside, head for the elevator or stairs and go DOWNSTAIRS to Room 007.
If you need assistance getting to the Cato College of Education, UNC Charlotte can provide transportation. Niner Paratransit provides disability transport for those with mobility impairments. Disability transport must be prearranged. Please call 704-687-5636 to set up services. Provide the following information when calling: Your name; Pick-up hub: Union Deck, ground floor; Destination hub: Cato College of Education.
Food:
Light refreshments and snacks will be provided on Friday. On Saturday, coffee, tea, and water will be available throughout the day. In the morning, breakfast bread will be served, and in the afternoon, we'll offer dips and dessert. Please note that lunch will not be provided on either day, but there are several convenient dining options both on campus and in the nearby area.
